            I don't think the coffee cherries are pretentious because its a perfectly good use of something that would otherwise be wasted. I find it to be clever and past due to be honest.

                                                              I love Barry's comment about the balsamic, but the thing is you can't have something identical/similar to aged balsamic vinegar because it gets to be that fabulous specifically from the particular vinegar-making process that this vinegar undergoes...and it's a long and hand-done process, which makes the end product quite expensive. The culture and heritage of making traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena (aceto balsamico tradizionale de Modena DOP) is amazing! Modena is definitely a worthwhile tour learn about this gorgeous process that results in really expensive--and wonderful--vinegar. Cheers!

                                                                                        One Christmas I was given a bottle of true balsamic vinegar from Modena Italy. That stuff in the supermarket just doesn't carry it anymore. I only buy true balsamic from Modena. I apply it with an eyedropper, LOL! From that point on I have never looked back. It's worth every penny.
