I love Sebastien. He is a professional driver who has proven himself in many situations. Sadly things like this make you feel that he isn't good enough.

I know the strategy by Ferrari was stupid but why is such a big shitstorm on Sebastian? He was faster than Charles.. not much but he was.
They asked him to be faster bc. the gap was close. Think monkeys, think

@0:10 engineer asks Charles “can you go faster”? Charles replies yes! What the hell was Charles doing cruising around instead of going faster. It’s a race Charles so get on with it otherwise you will spend the whole season moving aside.

                            Please look up the stats.
Vettel was faster then Lecrec but after destroying his tyres behind Lecrec because of the the air flow, Vettel couldnt manage to keep up the pace.
SO all in all Ferrari shouldve let Vettel thru earlier. If Ferrari had let Vettel pass earlier, he wouldnt have messed up his tyres and Vettel would pull away from Lecrec.
So all people who are saying Vettel was the bad one .... or some sort .... Your just naive!!!

Vettel was faster then Lecrec the hole Weekend!

And I bet you guys, Mercedes will do the same this year, and if nobody would do that, why does a team needs two drivers than. And for all ham fanboys, what happened last year with Ocon at the Monaco GP, yeah right, Toto told Force India Mercedes to let him by, just saying. Enjoy the sport and stop hating, it’s a waste of time to argue

This team order shit that Ferrari is being blamed for years now is a fucking disgrace. A disgrace both for the integrity of the sport (yes I said that) and at the same time for all the hypocrisy behind it. That Austria thing back with Barrichello really is baffling that has endured so much in the memories of the so called "journalists" and "racing fans"... Somehow, MAGICALLY this team order shit has endured in the memories of all these people more than the McLaren spy scandal(!!!), McLaren liegate (!!) the Benetton crash gate (that potential cost Masa a Championship) and countless other much worse things than "Fernando is faster than you"... Let alone team orders themselves. People act as if Ferrari is the one doing it exclusively and they tend to make fun of just Ferrari when pretty much every team in the history of the sport has done that at some point. Countless....and I literally mean that, COUNTLESS other teams are enforcing team orders... be it Red Bull, Benetton, McLaren, Mercedes, etc etc...

Last year Ferrari wanted to be "good guys" and did not issue team orders when they SHOULD have. They let Raikonen and Vettel race in Monza they let them race pretty much everywhere.

                                    GUESS WHO USED TEAM ORDERS.

Oh thats right Mercedes! And it wasnt just one time thing. It was Multiple times. Russia, Italy, Germany and more. But hey, nobody made a big deal about Mercedes team orders. Nobody made a deal about Bottas handing the win to Hamilton. It was OK. When Ferrari does it though? Everybody loses their minds!

So apparently all these "racing fans" have a real issue with their memory. Selectively remembering only when Ferrari uses team orders but forget everything else. Bunch of hypocrites. This is a team sport. Team orders should not be a debate. Ferrari is transparent about it this year and they are not willing to be the idiots not employing team orders when the "good guys" Mercedes actually do, but get no backlash....fucking unfair...

How is it that Leclerc, a young F1 driver in his 2nd full season in F1, seems to be slightly more consistent (even if just at some races) than someone like Vettel, with all his years of experience? I mean, if he can't stand pressure, at least give Leclerc a chance to be at the top. For crying out loud, Leclerc seems to be the one to support, not Vettel. Kimi and Leclerc would probably have been a better pairing for Ferrari to keep, even if that meant "demoting" Vettel to Alfa Romeo... Sounds harsh, but I really believe that, and that's from watching just the race reviews, I can't imagine how many more lockups / mistakes Vettel must have made through the duration of the whole race... Vettel might be good, but if he's crumbling under pressure, there's no point in "safeguarding" him, so that he ends up in a better position, if he's going to lose it by his own hand... Go Charles...

Even then, he still couldn't overtake leclerc so easily. What's gonna happen when vettel is in front without DRS then? Besides, the ferarri was already pulling away from verstappen which they should know that at this point, they are on the right track. If vettel wants to be in front he should earn it. Otherwise, they are throwing away their advantage over verstappen.

I get that team orders are a thing in F1, but I will never ever support them in any capacity. If any other sport fixed the finishing result like this, regardless of if F1 is a "team" sport (which it is and isn't), there would be such an outcry it isn't funny. The fact that it's historically been a thing doesn't mean it should still be a thing.

I'm just disgusted. Last race Charles had a legitimate chance of winning until the Ferrari car had reliability problems. And here we are, third fucking race in of the season, and he already has team orders to let Vettel by. Could Vettel have passed him? Probably. But that's the way it should have happened. With Vettel earning it, not having it given to him.

This was the 1000th race, and was not a good look for the sport. Further Merc dominance (I don't care if Merc wins but I would like to see a competitive close race), team orders, and a boring as fuck race to boot. Rather than highlight all of the incredible things the sport has it highlighted all the biggest issues with modern F1.
